It was 2016 when Tasiti Travel founder, Nicole, traveled to Costa Rica and Guatemala for three months. In Guatemala, while trekking through the pitch black Petén–Veracruz forest at 4AM with her guide, Ricardo, she fell in love with the feeling of experiencing new surroundings through the eyes of a local. Ricardo navigated the forest without a flashlight for ten miles before climbing the heights of ancient ruins. While perched at the top, Nicole watched the sky transform into clouds of pink and purple while listening to the sounds of the jungle as animals started their day. Monkeys howled, jaguars roared, and birds chirped. 

At that moment, Nicole knew she wanted to help the world experience sights just like Tikal. Since that time, Nicole has personally traveled to over 50 countries and counting! She has a strong penchant for fine hotels and delicious food and enjoys helping her clients experience each country's best dining, accommodations, and activities.

Tasiti Travel was founded in 2018 out of a passion for all things Latin America and the Caribbean.

While some years have passed and our operating areas have increased, our three leading principles, PEOPLE, PASSION, and TRANSPARENCY have not changed.
